Pass on the store-bought salad dressings that are loaded with preservatives and unwanted sugar.  You’ll also save money in the process and that’s always a win in my book!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 2 tsp tamari, gluten free kind if necessary
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1 small clove garlic, minced
  • Pinch of salt
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

Here are your instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a small bowl or jar and whisk until combined.

  2. Use dressing on your favorite salad!

Recipe Notes

Dressing stays good in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.  You may have to let it sit on the counter for a few minutes before using it since the oil can harden a bit in the refrigerator.
