Almond & Cacao “Bliss” Balls

These all-natural “Bliss” Balls live up to their name!  I like to keep a batch of these frozen and enjoy one when the sweet tooth cravings strike.  They are not nearly as “carby” as store-bought treats and they have zero artificial ingredients.  Your body and your taste buds will thank you for this treat!

Almond & Cacao “Bliss” Balls

Ingredients:

  • 24 fresh pitted dates
  • ½ cup almonds
  • ¼ cup raw cacao powder, plus extra for rolling
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut oil unsweetened coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the dates, almonds, cacao and coconut oil and process for 2–3 minutes or until the mixture comes together.

  2. Roll tablespoons of the dough into golf-size balls and roll in extra cacao or optional coconut flakes to coat. (I prefer the coconut myself).
